Day 5. Resting in Hawaii

image

Not much to report from this day. We had a late breakfast at
the hotel. The locals were
wearing sweaters and complained about how cold it was. It got better as the sun
got higher on the sky, but I always imagined Hawaii to be quite warm. I assume the other
hotel guests imagined that as well when they booked their vacation. After
breakfast we headed over to the airport to refuel for Wednesday’s flight to
Majuro, Marshall Islands.

In the evening we finalized flight-planning and looked over
the weather forecast. A sigmet over Marshall Islands was a little concerning,
but the airport forecast for Majuro was promising. As this flight was leaving
US territory for another country we could no longer use FltPlan.com. So from now
we use rocketroute.com to file our flightplans.
